About Polaris

The licensing layer
doesn't exist yet. We're building it.

Polaris is licensing infrastructure for music software developers — API-first, Solana-anchored, and built for how software is actually sold today. Real-time. Programmable. Auditable on chain.

Why we exist

Software licensing is static in a dynamic world.

Developers lose revenue, customers, and insight every day — because no standard licensing infrastructure exists. Current systems are rigid, reactive, and offline. Usage is opaque. Revenue leaks inside your own customer base, and traditional tooling offers little visibility into misuse, overuse, or grey-market activity.

We spoke to indie plugin developers about how they handle licensing today. The pattern was clear: good tooling still breaks at the network edge, and when the incumbent fails, developers build their own and never look back. Offline resilience isn't optional — it's the baseline.

Polaris is the answer: complete licensing infrastructure — key management, a plugin SDK, and a real-time analytics console — that goes live in a day. Stripe, but for software licensing.

What we believe

Three principles, built into everything.

Real-time

Licensing should respond the moment something changes — an activation, a transfer, a leak. By the time you see a problem in a static system, the revenue is already gone.

Programmable

One dashboard, one API, one SDK. Developers issue, validate, and revoke keys through clean REST and a JUCE-native plugin SDK — live in a day, no dongles, no drama.

Auditable on chain

Every license event is written to a tamper-proof, immutable ledger anchored on Solana — so provenance is verifiable and usage is never a black box.
